Description/Notes: Center Point ISD is accepting applications for an Athletic Director, Head Football Coach, and Teacher.

Primary

Purpose:

Direct and manage district’s athletic program and facilities and instruct and coach students to develop skills and abilities to excel in athletics. Provide each student with the opportunity to participate in an extracurricular athletic activity and ensure compliance with all federal, state, University Interscholastic League (UIL), and local requirements.

Provide instruction and coach students to develop skills and ability to excel in assigned sport(s). Contribute to education program as a whole and to growth of students involved in athletics.

Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences in the core academic subject area assigned to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Valid Texas teaching certificate in subject and grade level assigned
• Current automated external defibrillator (AED) certificate
• Clear and valid Texas commercial driver’s license with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements (optional)

Salary Range:

• $51,000-$76,700 Base Salary
• $7,500 Athletic Director Stipend
• $6,000 Head Football Stipend
• Paid Extra Days
