General DescriptionDaytime part-time clinical instructor positions available for the WCJC Wharton Campus. The permanent responsibility of a faculty member is to provide the most effective instruction possible in his/her discipline. Supervision is received from the appropriate supervisor. ResponsibilitiesProvide effective instruction in the assigned nursing discipline. Supervise and support students to meet educational needs. Coordinate with the supervisor to ensure instructional quality and alignment with program objectives.
RequirementsThis position requires the candidate to have an Associate s Degree in Nursing and a current, valid, and unencumbered Registered Nurse license from the Texas State Board of Nurse Examiners. Three years of nursing experience is also required. This position requires the candidate to be qualified through academic preparation and/or clinical experience to teach clinical assignments and/or simulation lab. A criminal background check is also required.
