Job DescriptionDescription: Provide leadership and coordination in developing an aligned and articulated instructional program in science. Identify curriculum needs, enhance instructional practices, oversee the development of science assessments, and provide professional development initiatives related to science instruction.
Duty Days: 218 Days
Salary
Minimum: $88,248
Midpoint: $99,759
(Salary offered will be based on commensurate experience)
Qualifications- Master’s Degree
- Valid Texas Teaching Certificate
- Valid Mid-Management or Principal Certificate
- T‑TESS Appraiser Certification
- Strong knowledge of curriculum, instruction, and assessment
- Ability to work collaboratively with classroom teachers
- Ability to interpret data and identify performance gaps
- Strong communication, organizational, public relations, and interpersonal skills
- Thorough understanding of school administrative operations
- Effective use of word processing and spreadsheets
- Three years teaching experience
- Administrative experience preferred, but not required
