Johnson City ISD is accepting applications for a Paraprofessional Instructional Aide for LBJ Elementary High School. Applicants must have a paraprofessional certification or be able to pass the appropriate district assessment for certification prior to being hired by JCISD. Minimum High School diploma or equivalent required for certification. Excellent communication skills; experience or training in instructional support preferred. Up-to-date SAMA training is preferred.

• Assist in instructing students under the direction of the teacher.
• Assist teacher in preparing instructional materials and classroom displays.
• Work well with children and communicate effectively.

• Paraprofessional certification or ability to pass the district assessment for certification prior to hire.
• Minimum High School diploma or equivalent required for certification.
• Excellent communication skills; experience or training in instructional support preferred.
• Up-to-date SAMA training preferred.
