Lueders-Avoca ISD is seeking qualified, energetic applicants for our high school Special Education opening. Be prepared to teach small numbers in classes with an enormous opportunity for intrinsic rewards and become a valued member of the L-A ISD Family.
We serve approximately 115 students in eastern Jones and northwestern Shackelford counties. One advantage we offer is a very small student/teacher ratio. Our size makes it necessary for staff to wear many hats, however, the opportunity to be a part of student success makes the rewards worth the efforts.
Expectations include a focus on the implementation of sound teaching practices and a great work ethic to prepare students for academic and a lifetime of successes.

Applicants must hold a valid Texas Teaching Certificate and be willing to teach or facilitate other classes. Possible girls or boys coaching.
Bus driver certification or willingness to obtain preferred.
