Job Summary:
Roby CISD is seeking qualified, dedicated individuals to serve as substitute teachers for all grade levels. Substitute teachers play a vital role in maintaining a productive and supportive learning environment in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.
Responsibilities:
* Follow lesson plans provided by the regular teacher to ensure continuity of instruction.
* Manage classroom behavior in accordance with district policies.
* Supervise students in the classroom and other assigned areas.
* Maintain a safe and respectful learning environment.
* Communicate any issues or concerns to the campus principal.
Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent (college hours or degree preferred).
* Ability to work well with students, staff, and parents.
* Strong communication and organizational skills.
* Flexibility to work on short notice.
* Must complete all Roby CISD onboarding and background check requirements.
