Your schedule
  • Existing Campus:
    Year-round position with general operating day hours of 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
  • Minimal in-town travel
  • After-hours events are required
  • Full-time, exempt, 12-month

Your Mission

You are responsible for strategizing, planning, coordinating, and supervising the day-to-day business operations of a school, and serve as the operation’s mastermind on campus ensuring Principals can maximize their focus on instruction and scholar success. You relentlessly ensure that school operation functions—student recruitment and enrollment, meals, transportation, procurement, student information systems, compliance and reporting, safety, and new school openings—are performed with excellence so that student learning functions at its best.

You have excellent business acumen, management experience, organizational skills, and project management. You are quick on your feet, versatile, flexible, and extremely customer-service-oriented because at the end of the day - you understand how your role impacts students, families, and the community.

Your Responsibilities
Student Recruitment, Enrollment, and Registration
  • Develops and executes student recruitment efforts that target families with school-aged children in the surrounding areas of the school.
  • Launching schools:
    Must recruit and enroll students in grades Kinder - 6th
  • Existing schools:
    Must recruit a new cohort of Kinder students every year as well as enroll children in grade levels that have availability.
  • Collaborates with Principal to nurture applications and ensures they lead to enrollment and registration
  • Create family engagement, onboarding, and registration events that warmly welcome families to Compass Rose Public Schools and ensure they persist through their first year and beyond
  • Complete family enrollment by June
  • participate actively in a minimum number of student recruitment events annually (as determined and network and school guidance).
  • Ensure that all enrollment and registration paperwork has been submitted
  • Comply with all federal, state, and organizational student registration requirements throughout the enrollment process (i.e. transfers, testing, etc.)
  • Lead the planning and execution of specific new student interactions to help students get acclimated to the campus culture and expectations in a way that is inviting and engaging
  • Lead the planning and execution of specific new family events to welcome the new parents to the campus and help them integrate and get acclimated to the campus culture and expectations
Persistence and Average Daily Attendance
  • Student persistence: 90% year over year
  • Communicate attendance expectations to families
  • Collaborate with school leadership and teachers to implement best practices, raise awareness, analyze ADA trends, and leverage tracking mechanisms to positively impact ADA
  • Identify and problem-solve around challenges that impact attendance and persistence.
Service, Safety, and Operations
  • For new launching campuses:
    Secure temporary office prior to the opening of the building and arrange workspace for the team
  • Ensure buildings are clean, safe, and ready to open two weeks before the first day of school
  • 100% of furniture is installed two weeks before the first day of school
  • Ensure Facilities Manager has 100% of HVAC units functional two weeks before the first day of school
