A cancer center located at hospital is seeking a Hematologist/Oncologist for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is located a little over an hour outside of Abilene, Texas.

This is an outpatient position with a 1:4 call rotation, including weeknights and weekends on a 7-day schedule. The clinic operates Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with an average patient volume of 15 per day. The team includes two other hematology/oncology physicians, three APPs, and nursing support, using Epic EMR. Board certification in oncology is required, with an active Texas license preferred.

Credentialing takes approximately one month.
