• Doctorate degree in Medicine.
• Licensed to practice medicine in Texas by the Texas Medical Board.
• Currently board certified in specialty, or actively pursuing board certification as defined by the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists.

The new 260‑bed medical center opened in 2009 and offers a wide range of specialties. The Division of Orthopedic Trauma comprises 2 orthopaedic trauma surgeons and 3 physician assistants and is certified Level II trauma.
