ACLS (if not Board Certified EM), ATLS, NIHSS, BLS, PALS, TNCC per hospital policy - Experience:
Emergency Medicine experience required - Other
Qualifications: - Completion of application packet with CV, photo , board certification, and references
- Proof of immunizations or positive titers for required vaccines (Hepatitis B, MMR, Varicella, Tdap, Flu)
- TB screening within the last year (Quantiferon, T-Spot, or 2-step skin test accepted)
- Chest X-ray and questionnaire required if TB positive
- Must provide CME documentation (minimum 4 stroke hours annually and 9 trauma hours per 3-year period)
- Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients of all ages
- Perform assessment, diagnosis, stabilization, and treatment for acute medical conditions
- Collaborate with nursing staff and consulting specialists to ensure quality patient outcomes
- Participate in trauma, cardiac, and stroke response protocols
- Utilize Epic EMR for accurate and timely documentation
- Ensure adherence to CHRISTUS Health policies, compliance standards, and credentialing requirements
- Maintain required CME training to ensure trauma and stroke readiness
