A facility is seeking an emergency medicine physician for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is located in Texarkana, TX.

This emergency department opportunity offers 10-hour shifts with a total of 40-50 physician hours and 40 advanced practice provider (APP) hours weekly, supporting an annual volume of 52,000 patients. Board-certified or board-eligible physicians in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine are accepted;
Family Medicine providers must have current ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS certifications through the AHA. APP coverage is provided 40 hours daily. Physician shift times are Monday-Wednesday: 6 a.m.

-4 p.m., 10 a.m.

-8 p.m., 12 p.m.

-10 p.m., 3 p.m.

-1 a.m., and 8 p.m.

-6 a.m.;
Thursday, Friday, and Sunday: 6 a.m.

-5 p.m., 10 a.m.

-9 p.m., 3 p.m.

-2 a.m., and 8 p.m.

-6 a.m.;
Saturday: 6 a.m.

-4 p.m., 10 a.m.

-8 p.m., 3 p.m.

-1 a.m., and 8 p.m.

-6 a.m. NP/PA shift times are 7 a.m.

-5 p.m., 9 a.m.

-7 p.m., 1 p.m.

-11 p.m., and 7 p.m.

-5 a.m. The EMR system used is Epic.
