New Home Selections Coordinator

The Selections Coordinator plays a key role in guiding clients through the home selections process and helping bring their vision to life. This position focuses on assisting with interior and exterior finish selections for custom and spec homes and organizing those selections into clear, detailed, and visually compelling presentation materials. The ideal candidate is highly organized, design-minded, and comfortable balancing creativity with structure and documentation.

This role requires a strong visual eye, attention to detail, and the ability to create cohesive, attractive mood boards that clearly communicate the overall design vision.

• Assist clients with interior and exterior finish selections for custom and spec homes
• Provide thoughtful guidance on materials, colors, fixtures, and finish coordination
• Help clients create a cohesive design vision aligned with the architectural style of the home
• Prepare visually polished mood boards and presentation materials that clearly communicate selections
• Coordinate and document design selections in clear, organized, client-facing packages
• Maintain accurate selections schedules, finish logs, and approval documentation
• Support clients throughout the selections process in a professional and organized manner
• Understand established allowance budgets and help clients make selections that align with those budgets
• Maintain an ongoing understanding of current and emerging interior design trends, materials, and finishes
• Research and source new products, textures, color palettes, and design concepts
• Develop inspiration boards and cohesive design concepts for spec homes and models
• Proactively present fresh, thoughtful ideas that elevate the visual appeal and marketability of upcoming builds
• Ensure spec home selections feel curated, intentional, and aligned with the company’s brand and standards

• Track and confirm all selected materials, finishes, and fixtures
• Coordinate with team members and vendors to ensure selections are clearly communicated
• Maintain organized digital filing systems for selections and documentation
• Manage and organize physical and digital sample libraries
• Ensure all selections are documented accurately and ready for implementation

• Bachelor’s degree in interior design or related field.
• 1+ years experience with residential finish-out selections & interior design
• Strong visual eye and understanding of residential design and finishes
• Proficiency with design and layout tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, InDesign, or similar)
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and a client-service mindset
• Experience working with a home builder, architect, or interior design firm
