290 Dental Studio is looking for an experienced Registered Dental Assistant to join our team part-time, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time role as we continue to grow.
We’re seeking someone confident in general dentistry who takes pride in clinical excellence and enjoys staying current with new techniques and technology. If you’re passionate about dentistry and love being part of a modern, patient-centered practice, we’d love to meet you.
We’re especially excited to find someone interested in expanding their skill set beyond the operatory. This role includes opportunities to become cross‑trained in front desk responsibilities such as scheduling, patient coordination, and supporting overall practice flow.

Primary Role:Clinical Dental Assisting Clinical Responsibilities:
- Preparing and breaking down operatories
- Sterilization and infection control
- Taking digital X‑rays and intraoral photos
- Assisting with impressions, scans, and lab cases
- Managing clinical supplies and inventory as needed
- Providing post‑operative instructions
- Ensuring smooth room turnover to maintain schedule efficiency
- Supporting same‑day treatment when possible
Front Desk Support Front Desk Support Responsibilities:
- Answering incoming phone calls professionally
- Scheduling and rescheduling patient appointments
- Confirming appointments
- Checking patients out
- Pre‑booking hygiene and follow‑up appointments
- Ensuring accurate chart updates and documentation
(Required)
- Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license in the State of Texas.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Minimum 1 year of clinical dental assisting experience.
- Working knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and infection control protocols.
- Strong communication skills, professionalism, and positive attitude.
(Preferred)
- Experience in cosmetic and restorative dentistry.
- Familiarity with Open Dental software and digital scanning systems.
- Nitrous oxide monitoring certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Coronal polishing certification
- Bilingual (Spanish) strongly preferred
