Blue Jay Dental has a client with a need for a general dentist to start immediately in Edna, TX.

Seeking an associate or locum dentist to work Monday-Friday at our busy office. This is a full-time position.

Our state-of-the-art office features digital x-ray and new equipment, and we primarily serve adult patients.

The successful candidate will provide excellent dental care, including diagnosis, treatment, and patient management.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing diagnosis of patient's dental status utilizing accepted clinical and radiological techniques.
• Assessing patient's dental status and arranging for appropriate consultations to determine treatment needed.
• Providing comprehensive professional dental treatment to address the oral health needs of patients.
• Providing routine recall exams, simple extractions, restorations, prosthetic services, prophylaxis, and fluoride treatments.
• Referring to dental specialists when appropriate.
• Managing administrative functions of the dental office.
• Supervising the work of dental hygienists and dental assistants.

Requirements for the position include:

• DMD or DDS from an accredited dental school.
