Are you a skilled and compassionate dental assistant seeking an exciting opportunity in a private dental office? We are currently looking for a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team at our dental practice in Argyle, Texas.

**

- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient care by sterilizing and arranging dental instruments and equipment.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as instructed by the dentist.
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during examinations, treatments, and surgeries.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes.
- Perform various laboratory duties, such as pouring and trimming models, fabricating temporary crowns, and processing dental impressions.
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols.
- Manage inventory and order dental supplies and materials as needed.
- Schedule appointments, answer phone calls, and handle administrative tasks as required.

- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a dental assisting program preferred.
- Current certification in dental radiography and infection control preferred.
- Proven experience as a dental assistant or relevant clinical experience.
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments.
- Familiarity with dental software and digital radiography systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
