• Welcome customers in the dental office
• Prepare customers for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
• Select and set up instruments, equipment and materials needed
• Sterilize instruments according to regulations
• Assist the dentist through 4‑handed dentistry
• Undertake lab tasks as instructed
• Provide oral hygiene and post‑operative care instructions
• Keep the dental room clean and well‑stocked

• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures

• Registered dental assistant with 1+ year experience
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
• Understanding of health & safety regulations
• Ability to perform regulated non‑surgical tasks such as coronal polishing (a plus)
• Good computer skills
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Attention to detail
• Well‑organized and reliable
• High school diploma; graduation from dental assistant school preferred
• Additional certification or training (e.g. EFDA) is an asset
• Dental hygiene license required (if applicable) – In‑depth knowledge of health and safety regulations such as HIPAA; diploma in dental hygiene preferred

$55.00 – $65.00 per hour

Proven experience as dental hygienist or similar role and dental hygiene license required for certain shifts.
