Responsible for teller and new account transactions, cross‑selling bank products/services, and resolving customer service issues. Process new accounts and transactions with accuracy and efficiency while delivering a professional customer service experience.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Processing deposit & withdrawal transactions
- Balancing cash drawer and TCR (Teller Cash Recycler)
- Detecting & reporting fraudulent or suspicious activities
- Evaluating customer needs to suggest appropriate bank products & services
- Opening & processing all available new account types
- Taking wire requests
- Assisting customers:
- Debit card and internet banking services
- Check ordering, stop payments, and closing accounts
- Problem resolutions & special requests
- Performing other miscellaneous customer service functions
- Cross‑training other staff members
- Understanding loan options, including terms and rates
- Consumer loan application process
- Complete in‑branch closing process for consumer loan customers
- Customer and personal service – knowledge of principles and processes for providing service, including needs assessment, meeting quality standards, and evaluating satisfaction.
- English language – knowledge of structure, content, spelling and grammar.
- For bilingual positions – must be proficient in both English and Spanish.
- Mathematics – knowledge of arithmetic, algebra and their applications.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Oral comprehension – listens and understands information presented orally.
- Oral expression – communicates clearly when speaking.
- Problem sensitivity – recognizes when something is wrong and丝 knows steps to correct.
- Information ordering – arranges items/actions according to rules.
- Number facility – performs quick, accurate arithmetic.
- Speech clarity – speaks clearly in person or over the phone.
- Near vision – reviews customer information on computer andisumik documents.
- Speech recognition – identifies and understands speech.
- Mathematical reasoning – chooses the right method to solve problems.
- Reading comprehension outpatient – understands written sentences and paragraphs in work documents.
- Physical requirements:
- Lifting – minimum 10 lb up to 3‑4 ft.

- Dexterity – operate computer and office machinery.
