Construction Quality Inspector

Job Summary

Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Construction Quality Inspector to join our team. The role involves ensuring construction projects meet industry standards, safety regulations, and company quality benchmarks. As a Quality Inspector, you will play a critical role in supervising construction activities, conducting inspections, and verifying compliance with specifications, drawings, and standards. • Conduct routine site inspections to monitor construction work quality.
• Verify compliance with project specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Identify deficiencies or non-conformances and provide corrective recommendations.
• Document inspection results, prepare reports, and maintain quality records.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and project managers to resolve quality issues.
• Ensure that materials and workmanship meet required standards before approval.
• Support in implementing quality control procedures throughout the construction process.
• Follow up on corrective actions to ensure proper execution.

• Bachelors degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, standards, and safety codes.
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and reporting abilities.
• Attention to detail with the ability to identify quality and safety risks.
• Familiarity with quality assurance and control methodologies.

• 2–5 years of relevant experience in construction quality inspection, quality control, or site supervision.
• Prior experience in residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects will be an advantage.

• Full-time position, Monday to Saturday.
• Standard working hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (with flexibility based on project needs).

• Knowledge of local building codes, construction safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and construction quality management tools.
• Ability to handle pressure in fast-paced construction environments.
