Site Superintendent – Wastewater Treatment Plants (Required Experience)

Texas Aquastore is seeking a Site Superintendent with direct, hands-on Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) construction experience to lead field execution on municipal and industrial water infrastructure projects across Texas. This role is not intended for general commercial or residential superintendents without wastewater or water treatment plant experience.
The Site Superintendent serves as the primary on-site leader responsible for daily execution of wastewater treatment plant construction activities, including concrete process structures, process piping, mechanical installations, and coordination with multiple trades in active or regulated environments.
This role partners closely with operations and project management to plan and sequence work around plant constraints, regulatory requirements, and commissioning needs. The Superintendent ensures labor, materials, and equipment are properly aligned to maintain schedule and quality while minimizing disruption to plant operations when working in live facilities.
Safety and compliance are critical. The Site Superintendent enforces company safety policies and site-specific safety plans, with particular attention to wastewater treatment hazards including confined space entry, lockout/tagout, trench safety, and PPE compliance. The role is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and professionally run job site.
Quality control is a core responsibility. The Superintendent monitors workmanship verifies installation against plans and specifications, and addresses deficiencies immediately. Clear communication with crews, subcontractors, inspectors, and company leadership is expected at all times.
Required Qualifications- 5+ Years prior experience as a Site Superintendent, Foreman, or Lead Field Supervisor on Wastewater Treatment Plants (WWTPs)
- Demonstrated experience with process piping, mechanical systems, and concrete structures specific to wastewater facilities
- Ability to manage multiple work streams, trades, and subcontractors in regulated construction environments
- Strong working knowledge of jobsite safety requirements applicable to wastewater treatment facilities
- Proven ability to make independent field decisions and maintain schedules without constant oversight
Applicants without wastewater or water treatment plant experience will not be considered.
