Classroom Operations Specialist

Children’s Choice Learning Center is seeking an experienced, dependable child care professional to join our team as a Classroom Operations Specialist
. This role is designed for individuals who understand classroom flow, routines, and supervision, and who take pride in consistency, structure, and professional execution.

The Classroom Operations Specialist is a hands-on classroom role focused on maintaining daily operations, supporting classroom continuity, and ensuring children receive safe, high-quality care in accordance with center policies and state standards.

• Support daily classroom operations in a safe, structured, and organized environment

• Maintain consistent routines, transitions, and supervision throughout the day

• Assist with classroom activities that support child development and engagement

• Actively supervise children during classroom activities, transitions, and outdoor play

• Maintain classroom cleanliness, organization, and compliance with licensing standards

• Follow all established policies, procedures, and safety protocols

• Communicate professionally with team members and leadership regarding classroom needs

• Provide classroom coverage as needed to ensure uninterrupted operations

• Model professionalism, accountability, and best practices within the classroom

• Previous child care experience is required

• Prior supervisory, lead teacher, or classroom leadership experience is required

• High school diploma or equivalent required (early childhood credentials preferred)

• Demonstrated understanding of classroom management, child supervision, and safety

• Ability to exercise sound judgment and remain calm in a fast-paced classroom environment

• Ability to meet the physical and supervision requirements of a child care setting

• Willingness to complete all required training and background checks in accordance with Texas Minimum Standards

• Valid driver’s license required; this position may include supported training to operate the center bus for PM routes, based on business needs

• This role involves direct, hands-on interaction with children in a licensed child care setting
