Location: Anson

This role will cover all aspects of M&A from deal generation to execution including financial modeling and due diligence. He/she will also ensure effective interactions and collaborations with both internal and external stakeholders in driving ongoing alignment and achieving M&A objectives.

The M&A & Corporate Development is an active contributor for the following aspects:

  • Corporate Development:
    Evaluate and source growth and business development opportunities for TPC's current and potential businesses
  • Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) / Investments:
    Lead the process from deal generation to execution
  • Strategic Planning & Governance:
    Work with TPC leadership team and business units to develop successful strategies
Responsibilites
  • Evaluate and source for growth and business development opportunities for TPC's current and potential businesses
  • Develop deep understanding of TPC's business and geographic markets to advance the identification of impactful investment or acquisitions opportunities in line with TPC's strategic direction.
  • Conduct market research, analysis of business trends (competitive dynamics) to understand relevant macro‑economic drivers to understand and identify disruptive (technology) advancements.
  • Perform assessment of strategic value of potential projects through scenario analysis to support strategy formulation or new market entry/product development.
  • Building of financial models and business cases Create business plans and identify tactical work plans for the different work streams and see through the implementation phase.
  • Lead the process with stakeholders from the business units, from deal generation to execution. Includes sourcing, qualification, financial modelling, due diligence, and closing and integration activities.
  • Work with leadership team of potential M&A targets to execute the transaction and integration processes.
  • Work with in‑house and external adviser(s) to review and negotiate key terms within the legal documentation related to transactions in the various jurisdictions.
  • Carry out commercial and financial due diligence including documenting all M&A processes
  • Closely keep track and evaluate the results of M&A.
Requirements
  • More than 15 years in Corporate Development, Private Equity, Venture Capital or Investment Banking including at least 5 years in Management Consulting, Business Development, Product Marketing, Product Management/Development
  • Demonstrated track record of leading corporate transactions – acquisitions / disposals, public and private markets, equity and debt transactions, JV/Partnership arrangements
  • Advanced knowledge of mathematics; strong analytical skills, fluency in performing rigorous financial, valuation and broad quantitative analyses and familiarity with accounting & key operational metrics;
  • Familiar with electronic market trading and market forecasting software programs; extensive understanding of financial business law, company acquisitions strategies, and the acquisition and merger processes;

Education
  • Master’s degree (or PhD degree) in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics or any other related field.
  • CPA and/or CFA certification preferred
