Purchaser for heavylift and transport projects

Are you energized by building strong partnerships and making smart commercial decisions? As a Purchaser with Mammoet, you’ll play a key role in keeping projects moving by sourcing high-quality goods at the best value. You’ll build and manage a trusted vendor network, negotiate effectively, and ensure the right equipment and services are available exactly when needed.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys connecting with people, solving challenges, and making a direct impact on project success through strategic purchasing.

• Sourcing and managing all aspects of purchasing
• Analyzing and identifying project requirements
• Ensuring purchasing flawlessly supports project execution
• Selecting vendors and negotiating terms
• Ensuring goods and services are purchased in line with business objectives

• Expert level experience in negotiation. Professional level experience in contract management, project management and purchasing systems.
• English, fluent proficiency verbal and written
• Evidence of experience in a similar role, ideally in any/some of the following sectors: civil engineering, construction, renewables, oil and gas, offshore, ports and mining
• 3 years of relevant work experience in a technical setting. Relevant project management and/or construction organization experience is sought after and will be considered transferable.
• Bachelor’s degree in economics or logistics
