The Customer Service Agent – Admin is responsible for label control, yard coordination and administrative functions to support outbound shipping and picking operations. The role requires timely communication of issues to outbound supervisors and proficiency with Excel and general computer literacy.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Label Control: Prepare, distribute and re‑print labels for carton/pallet pickers daily. Maintain a consistent label flow and track all issued labels.
- Yard Coordination: Use Y/WMS system to communicate outbound pulls and plugs to yard drivers. Ensure trailers are chocked, green‑lit and ready before loading.
- Administrative Functions: Enter shipment data, issue seals, verify and document information for Bills of Lading, schedule carriers, print assignments, file outbound paperwork, multitask under high urgency and support supervisors with downtime tracking.
- Safety, Sanitation & Security: Keep the work area clean, secure documents and tools, and uphold OSHA/MSDS standards. Report issues promptly to supervisors.
- Other Duties: Safe use of RF scanners, computers, and printers; follow company policies, ISO procedures; exposure to varied environmental conditions; heavy lifting up to 25 lbs; perform repetitive motion tasks; willing to assist in any operational area as needed; overtime as required.

MinimumRequired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1–3 years’ experience in inventory control or warehousing administration.
- Intermediate computer skills, proficiency with MS Office, RF scanners, and WMS.
- English (reading, writing, verbal).
- Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently, adaptability to fast‑paced environments, and effective communication skills.
- 1–2 years experience in a warehouse/logistics/distribution environment.
- 1–2 years experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Bending, walking, standing, sitting, lifting 11–20 lbs, reaching, squatting, kneeling, and kneeling as necessary.
Noise level low to moderate. Rare exposure to fumes or airborne particles. Work is performed in a warehouse setting.
