Automotive Service Advisor​/Assistant Manager

SERVICE ADVISOR / ASSISTANT MANAGER

The position of Service Advisor/Assistant Manager at Phil's Car Care requires a highly motivated and skilled individual to oversee daily operations and ensure both operational efficiency and customer satisfaction within a busy automotive service environment. The selected candidate will assume a leadership role in the absence of the owner and is expected to manage all aspects of business production, including meeting performance goals and handling customer relations in a professional manner.

• A minimum of five years of experience in a similar role within the automotive repair industry.
• Proven track record of achieving performance goals and demonstrating ethical behavior in a service-driven environment.
• Strong communication skills, particularly in customer interactions, to ensure effective needs assessment and service recommendations.
• Ability to resolve customer issues swiftly and professionally.
• Valid driver’s license.

• Daily Operations
  :
  Oversee shop activities, ensuring a seamless workflow from opening to closing, including the coordination of technicians and ensuring business objectives are met.
• Customer Interaction
  :
  Greet customers professionally, determine their needs, and accurately communicate recommended services.
• Sales and Estimates
  :
  Write and sell repair estimates, upsell services by educating customers on recommended repairs and maintenance via digital inspections.
• Fleet Accounts & ADAS Calibration
  :
  Attract and manage new fleet accounts for mechanical services, as well as collision shop services for ADAS calibration.
• Inventory & Ordering
  :
  Procure parts and services from suppliers, ensuring timely availability of necessary materials for repairs.
• Performance Monitoring
  :
  Review monthly sales, expenses, and key performance indicators (KPIs) with management to ensure financial objectives are being met.
• Staff Management
  :
  Hold semi-monthly meetings with technicians to discuss performance, updates, and strategies for continuous improvement.
• Facility Maintenance
  :
  Ensure the shop maintains a clean and presentable appearance, consistent with company image standards.

• The position requires a minimum of 50 hours per week
  , Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday shifts.
• Compensation includes a base salary complemented by bonus incentives

PAY

$48,000 to $78,000 / year which is made up of a base salary plus bonus incentives.
