Location: Sanger

The Project Coordinator supports the Project Manager in organizing, tracking, and documenting construction projects from start to finish.

This role focuses on maintaining accurate records, assisting with job cost tracking, and helping keep projects organized within company systems.

This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in Microsoft Office and construction software platforms.

The Project Coordinator reports directly to the Project Manager and has clear opportunities for advancement within the organization.

Essential Job Functions Project Support & Documentation
  • Assist the Project Manager with daily administrative and coordination tasks. Organize and maintain project files, contracts, purchase orders, and change orders. Track required documentation such as insurance certificates, permits, and closeout paperwork.
  • Help prepare project reports and status updates.
Financial & Software Support (SAGE or 300 Timberline)
  • Enter job cost data and assist with budget tracking in SAGE and Timberline accounting software.
  • Support invoice entry, purchase order tracking, and cost coding.
  • Assist with monthly billing documentation and pay application preparation.
Microsoft Office & Reporting
  • Use Excel to support cost tracking and basic reporting.
  • Prepare documents in Word and assist with internal project communication.
  • Maintain organized email communication and shared digital files (One Drive/SharePoint).
  • Assist with scheduling documentation and vendor paperwork collection.
  • Communicate professionally with subcontractors and suppliers when needed.
  • Support internal communication between the field, accounting, and project management.
Education and Experience
  • Completed some college coursework, or associate/bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, Finance, or a related field OR Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction administration, project coordination, accounting support, or a similar role
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with SAGE, 300 Timberline or similar construction accounting software required.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Construction experience is a plus but not required.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred but not required.
Compensation and Benefits

Salary: $35,000 - $55,000 based on education/experience level.
