This is a seasonal position for an experienced Tax Professional who will serve clients with diverse tax needs, supported by an expert team and advanced tax training.

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools (video, phone, chat, email).
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support.
• Mentor and support teammates.
• Maintain awareness of certification requirements (and applicable state requirements) as they apply to tax services.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or equivalent.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment and communicating clearly in person, by phone and in writing.
• High school diploma or higher; must meet continuing education and IRS/state requirements.
