Senior Corporate Accountant

We are partnering with a growing, established organization to hire a Senior Corporate Accountant as the finance team continues to expand. This role is newly created due to growth and recent internal promotions, and will play a key part in supporting the month-end close and overall accounting function.

• Prepare and post monthly journal entries, including accruals, prepaids, payroll, inventory, and fixed assets
• Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations and investigate and resolve variances
• Own assigned areas of the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Ensure accurate general ledger activity in accordance with GAAP
• Support manufacturing and inventory accounting, including inventory reconciliations and cost variance analysis
• Review and analyze income statement and balance sheet fluctuations month over month
• Assist with preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules
• Maintain and document accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Support external audit requests with schedules, reconciliations, and explanations
• Partner cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, and finance teams
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and scalability

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Experience in a mid-size to large company environment, ideally $100M+ in revenue
• Strong hands-on experience with journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and close
• Manufacturing or cost accounting experience preferred
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred, but not required
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and advanced formulas
• Experience working with ERP systems, manufacturing ERP experience is a plus
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage deadlines and volume
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset
