We are partnering with a growing, established organization to hire a Senior Corporate Accountant as the finance team continues to expand. This role is newly created due to growth and recent internal promotions, and will play a key part in supporting the month-end close and overall accounting function.

Key Responsibilities- Prepare and post monthly journal entries, including accruals, prepaids, payroll, inventory, and fixed assets
- Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations and investigate and resolve variances
- Own assigned areas of the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
- Ensure accurate general ledger activity in accordance with GAAP
- Support manufacturing and inventory accounting, including inventory reconciliations and cost variance analysis
- Review and analyze income statement and balance sheet fluctuations month over month
- Assist with preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules
- Maintain and document accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Support external audit requests with schedules, reconciliations, and explanations
- Partner cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, and finance teams
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and scalability
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Experience in a mid-size to large company environment, ideally $100M+ in revenue
- Strong hands-on experience with journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and close
- Manufacturing or cost accounting experience preferred
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred, but not required
- Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and advanced formulas
- Experience working with ERP systems, manufacturing ERP experience is a plus
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage deadlines and volume
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset
