RoleSecurity Officer - Campus Patrol Driver in Texas City, TX
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. You will perform unarmed driving patrols, remain highly visible, and help to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine rounds, monitor activity, check doors and gates, and document observations and reports with clear communication. - Provide customer service to site personnel, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, tank farms, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and perform identification checks, visitor processing, and contractor check-in and/or check-out in accordance with site requirements.
- Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions taken and communicate updates to site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision.
- Complete accurate reports and logs, including patrol activity, incident details, and shift turnover information; notify appropriate parties of maintenance issues, spills, or other conditions observed during rounds.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
