We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The Security Officer will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets. This role requires a strong commitment to maintaining a safe and orderly environment while responding to security incidents as they arise.
Key Responsibilities:
Surveillance:
Monitor CCTV cameras and conduct regular patrols to detect and deter any suspicious activities or potential security threats.
Access Control:
Ensure only authorized personnel and visitors enter the premises. Verify identification, issue visitor passes, and maintain visitor logs.
Emergency Response:
Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents. Take appropriate actions to protect life and property.
Report Writing:
Prepare accurate incident reports, detailing any security breaches, accidents, or disturbances, and submit them to supervisors as required.
Customer Service:
Provide excellent customer service to employees, visitors, and clients by offering assistance, answering questions, and addressing concerns professionally.
Property Protection:
Secure doors, windows, and gates as needed. Check for signs of damage, unauthorized entry, or vandalism.
Equipment Maintenance:
Ensure that all security equipment, such as cameras, alarms, and access control systems, is functioning correctly. Report any malfunction or damage for repairs.
Conflict Resolution:
Handle conflicts and disputes calmly and professionally. Use de-escalation techniques to defuse tense situations when necessary.
Safety Compliance:
Enforce company safety policies and procedures. Identify potential safety hazards and report them to the appropriate personnel.
Cooperation with Law Enforcement:
Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when required to address security concerns beyond the company's capacity.

Requirements- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Security Officer or related role is preferred.
- Valid security license or certification (if required by local regulations).
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong observation and attention to detail.
- Physical fitness and ability to stand, walk, and occasionally lift heavy objects.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations.
- Knowledge of security protocols and procedures.
