Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse:
Provide high-acuity care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit
Monitor and manage ventilators, drips, invasive lines, and complex assessments
Respond promptly to rapid changes in patient condition
Collaborate closely with intensivists, physicians, and multidisciplinary teams
Educate patients and families on treatment plans, conditions, and recovery processes
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Integrate seamlessly into the ICU team and unit workflow
Requirements for the Travel Nurse:
Active Texas or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license
Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
Minimum of 2 years' recent ICU experience in a high-acuity setting
