Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Production Technician at the executive level to join our team in Texas City. This is a full‑time position requiring 10 to 30 years of relevant work experience. The ideal candidate will excel in a high‑paced environment and play a vital role in ensuring the seamless operation of our production processes.
Qualifications and Skills- Extensive hands‑on experience of 10‑30 years in production environments, with a strong record of technical proficiency and leadership.
- Demonstrated expertise in health and safety protocols to ensure compliance and safe workplace practices. (Mandatory skill)
- Comprehensive ability and certification in cranes operations, including routine handling and critical lifts. (Mandatory skill)
- In‑depth knowledge of equipment calibration, with the ability to maintain accuracy and reliability of production machinery.
- Proven experience implementing and conducting preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and enhance equipment longevity.
- Solid foundation in quality assurance methodologies, contributing to consistent product excellence and adherence to standards.
- Proficiency in PLC programming for the configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization of automated industrial equipment.
- Strong problem‑solving skills with the capability to analyze technical issues, identify root causes, and drive efficient solutions within deadlines.
- Oversee and operate production equipment, including compliance with health and safety standards at all times.
- Conduct routine cranes operations while ensuring all safety protocols and operational procedures are strictly followed.
- Perform precise equipment calibration and maintain detailed records to ensure the optimal performance of production machinery.
- Execute and improve preventive maintenance tasks to maximize production uptime and mitigate unexpected failures.
- Implement and monitor quality assurance processes, contributing to the continuous improvement of product standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions, minimizing production delays and collaborating with engineering teams as needed.
- Utilize PLC programming skills to set up, manage, and fine‑tune automation systems for efficient workflow management.
- Participate in audits, safety drills, and training sessions to stay updated on best practices and compliance mandates.
