Shift Supervisor (Galveston Bay Refinery)

The Galveston Bay refinery in Texas City, TX, is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead shift operations, maintain safety and environmental excellence, and support production and reliability goals.

• Creates a culture of ownership, sets clear expectations, and holds people accountable for operational excellence.
• Maintains a safety and environmental culture by modeling appropriate behaviors and ensuring safe work practices.
• Leads the shift in conducting operations, including shift relief/start‑of‑shift meetings, job planning, equipment preparation, work permitting, and Joint Job Site Visit.
• Implements production plans efficiently and effectively, communicates unit status, and optimizes unit performance with coordination across departments.
• Supports unit reliability goals through proactive equipment care, condition monitoring, and maintenance readiness.
• Responds to abnormal situations, troubleshoots issues, and ensures clear communication to affected units and operations leadership.
• Fosters a high‑performance culture through training, coaching, mentoring, and manages operator scheduling.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience.
• Operations supervisory experience is a plus.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred.
