Senior Java Backend (Lead Folks)
Kanak Elite Services is seeking an experienced Senior Java Backend Engineer to join our client’s team as a hybrid onsite/remote role. The position is long‑term contract beginning day one.
Location & Schedule- Locations: Austin, TX / Sunnyvale, CA (client prefers local candidates)
- Hybrid Schedule: 3 onsite days (Tue‑Thu) + 2 remote days (Mon & Fri)
- Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance Java backend services
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver new features on a rapid schedule
- Integrate content management system (CMS) services with emerging GenAI capabilities
- Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement efforts
- Mid‑Senior level with 5+ years of Java backend development experience
- Strong communication and soft‑skill proficiency
- Experience working with CMS architecture
- Proactive/Reactive thought leader with ideas to drive innovation
