Ervin Cable Construction LLC – Laborer Telecom Aerial position supports an Aerial Telecom Crew with the installation and maintenance of fiber/telecom cables and materials.

• Provide tools, parts, and materials to crew members as needed
• Reposition or move bucket trucks, trailers, or equipment as directed
• Ensure that Untersuchs door-tagging and resident notifications for construction activities are completed before starting work each day
• Stock, clean, and maintain all company vehicles and equipment
• Perform hand digging using shovels and mechanical tools
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/after:this responsibilities as needed
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned

• 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States
• High School Diploma, GED, or relevant work experience
• Valid state driver’s license (non-provisional) and acceptable driving record
• Certified pole climber or willingness to become certified
• Previous labor experience in telecommunications is a plus

• Routine: work with arms above shoulder level at heights, in confined spaces and remote locations, climb stairs, bend, stoop, stand, walk, and lift up to 55 pounds, operate vehicle & heavy machinery
• Occasional: use ladder, keyboard, and mouse
