Retail Associate/ Customer Service, Customer Service Rep
Position Summary
The Member Service Associate supports members at Sam's Club by maintaining the checkout area, resolving member issues, promoting products, and providing guidance on self‑service technology.
Responsibilities- Provide member service, maintain checkout area, and resolve member issues and concerns.
- Promote Sam's Club products and services.
- Process member purchases, payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges according to company policies.
- Follow company safety standards, conduct safety sweeps, handle merchandise properly, and report unsafe situations.
- Maintain entrance and exit areas, verify membership cards, acknowledge members, and assist with purchasing decisions.
- Zone and organize merchandise, assist members with transporting items, and maintain a safe shopping environment.
- Secure and safeguard club assets, observe and communicate potential criminal activity, and maintain required documentation.
- Execute emergency response procedures and ensure compliance with security and safety practices.
- Assist in training Member Frontline Services associates on processes, technology, and new program rollouts; provide continuous learning and improvement opportunities.
- Identify shrink and damages, and handle returns properly.
- Collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers, and business partners to prioritize tasks, communicate progress, and recommend improvement opportunities.

Retail experience including operating front‑end equipment (e.g., cash register) and working with mobile retail applications.

The hourly wage range is $17.00 to $25.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the job location.
Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour under specific circumstances based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
