Position Summary:

Our fresh food associates help keep shelves stocked and contribute to the operational and sanitary conditions of our freezers and coolers. In the deli department, you’ll be on the front lines of customer service, where your smile can make the difference between a good shopping experience and a great one.

• Ensuring high-quality products are taken care of and available for our members
• Ensuring shelves are clean, maintaining temperature control, verifying expiration dates, and disposing of lesser-quality food products
• Packing ready-to-sell products in proper containers and stock displays
• Maintaining a clean, sanitized, and member-ready area

• Maintains safety of facility by following safety standards, procedures, and guidelines; conducts safety sweeps; follows proper forklift spotting procedures; handles and disposes of hazardous materials properly; reports unsafe situations to Management
• Maintains the Sales Floor and merchandise presentation in the Freezer/Cooler/Deli area by handling claims and returns; zoning the area; receiving and stocking merchandise; setting up, cleaning, and organizing product displays; removing damaged goods; pricing merchandise; completing required audits and documentation
• Provides Member service by acknowledging the Member, identifying needs, locating merchandise, assisting with purchasing decisions, and resolving issues
• Follows Company policies related to Freezer/Cooler area, including food handling, equipment operation, cold chain procedures, cleaning, and reporting issues

The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $23.00 per hour. The actual rate will be at or above the applicable minimum wage. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in certain circumstances.
