Ellis Home & Garden in Texarkana is now accepting applications for Cashiers and Greenhouse Associate positions. These positions will help operate our store on a day-to-day basis. Cashiers will be the face of the company and usually the first person that our customers see when they come to our store. Cashiers are responsible for greeting customers, processing transactions accurately, answering phone calls, and any other assigned duties.

The Greenhouse Associate will be responsible for tending to our plants and flowers inside the Greenhouse. Experience working with plants and Greenhouse knowledge is preferred; other duties include unloading delivery trucks, helping customers with purchases, cleaning, stocking and any other assigned duties.

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Some college preferred
• Lifting 50+/- pounds repeatedly (Greenhouse positions)
• Comfortable working in all weather conditions periodically
• Computer proficiency required
• Retail point of sale experience preferred
• Cash handling experience (Cashier position)
• Plant knowledge preferred, but not required (we will train you!)
• Must be available Nights & Weekends
• Must be 18 years of age

Cashier pay starting $11.00 per hour

Greenhouse pay starting $12.00 per hour
