This franchisee owns a license to use McDonald’s logos and food products, for example, when running the restaurant. However, this franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from McDonald’s USA. Only the franchisee is responsible for employment matters at the restaurant, including hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling employees. McDonald’s USA has no control over employment matters at the restaurant. McDonald’s USA will not receive a copy of your employment application and it will have no involvement in any employment decisions, including whether you receive an interview for the job or whether you are hired.
Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience. Some managers also lead Departments and may oversee assigned Systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management. Responsibilities include setting goals, delegating tasks, following up, and reporting results to the team and other managers.
The Guest Service Department Manager is responsible for ensuring Crew and Managers deliver a great customer experience, implementing sales promotions, training service staff in procedures, and keeping Front Counter McCafé and Drive‑Thru areas organized.
The Kitchen Department Manager ensures the restaurant delivers high‑quality food quickly, maintains food safety, controls food cost, and trains kitchen staff on production procedures, including new menu items.
The People Department Manager ensures qualified crew are hired, trained, and scheduled to meet sales and profit goals, and that crew members receive recognition and motivation throughout their tenure.
QualificationsPrevious managerial experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment. Looking for positive team players with flexible schedules who enjoy a fast‑paced McDonald’s environment. Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in a corporate owned and operated restaurant.
