Operates, maintains and repairs existing irrigation systems to ensure adequate moisture for plantings. Sets and maintains automatic irrigation systems to run systematically according to the landscape care program. These systems can include sprinklers, drip lines, timers, and pumps. We want to make sure that the right amount of water is delivered to the right places, which helps conserve water and keeps plants growing well.

Job duties could include: digging, working with pipes and valves, adjusting sprinkler heads, and checking for leaks or broken parts. They may also program and troubleshoot automatic systems to make sure everything runs on schedule and works efficiently.

Orders irrigation supplies, spare parts and equipment as authorized and takes deliveries on or off campus. Obtains quotes for services from outside contractors as requested.

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
