We are hiring on behalf of a healthcare client seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for an Emergency Department setting on a per diem basis.
Position SummaryThe Registered Nurse practices independently within professional standards and provides routine and complex nursing care in a dynamic clinical environment. The RN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive patient assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
- Document patient history, treatment, and progress.
- Delegate tasks appropriately to support staff.
- Provide patient and family education.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and regulatory compliance.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred.
- Active RN license in the state of employment or compact eligibility.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required.
- Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) required.
- Successful completion of orientation and competency validation.
- Compliance with state nursing regulations.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment.
Hourly rate range: [$XX – $XX per hour], commensurate with experience and applicable shift differentials where required by law.
