Sevier County Jail – Sevier County, TN
Jefferson County Jail – Jefferson County, TN

Schedule (On-Site):

Sevier County Jail
: 2 days per week, 8 hours per day (16 hours)
Jefferson County Jail: 1 day per week, 5 hours

Position Overview

TK Health is seeking a Medical Provider (Nurse Practitioner) to join our clinical team supporting Sevier County Jail and Jefferson County Jail in Tennessee. This part-time, on-site role offers the opportunity to deliver meaningful patient care in a structured, secure correctional healthcare environment.

As a Nurse Practitioner with TK Health Clinics, you will practice at the top of your license while gaining broad clinical experience across acute, chronic, and preventive care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide primary and urgent medical care to incarcerated patients
  • Assess, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
  • Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans as appropriate
  • Collaborate with nursing staff, custody staff, and healthcare leadership
  • Participate in on-call coverage as required
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
  • Adhere to all facility policies and state/federal healthcare regulations
Qualifications
  • Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Tennessee
  • Nurse Practitioner (NP)
  • Ability to work independently in a secure, structured environment
  • Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
  • Ability to pass a background check
