CARE Express is looking for a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to fulfill a vital role in our Workers' Compensation department. This position provides both administrative and clinical support, and the LVN serves as the face of the department for our patients. We host monthly themed dress-up days to keep our culture engaging and positive.

• In this role you'll obtain vital signs including temperature, heart rate, pulse oximetry, blood pressure, and weight.
• Insert saline locks and perform both basic and advanced cardiac life support.
• Apply sterile dressings and remove sutures or staples.
• Assist with pelvic examinations, perform EKGs, and cleanse and irrigate wounds.
• Administer oral medications and apply various splints like volar, thumb Spica, ulnar gutter, and posterior leg splints.
• Initiate routine lab tests following provider consultation, swab mucous membranes for cultures, and administer and read TB skin tests.
• Perform venipuncture and administer medications intramuscularly, subcutaneously, intravenously, and intradermally.
• Stay flexible for cross-training and occasionally take on tasks beyond the usual scope of practice.
• Observe and address needs to align with the organization's values and contribute to fulfilling its mission and vision.
• Perform other duties as necessary.

• Work Schedule:
  
  M-F 8:00-4:30
• Compensation:
  Starting at $21 per hour, depending on experience
