LVN/LPN (Licensed Vocational Nurse) Days

Reunion Plaza Senior Care and Rehabilitation Center, Texarkana, TX

Base pay range: $23.00/hr – $27.00/hr
Actual pay based on skills and experience.

• Maintains appropriate nursing service objectives, goals, and standards of nursing practices consistent with licensure requirements and the Nurse Practice Act.
• Evaluates staffing pattern needed to meet resident needs in conjunction with the Director of Nursing.
• Administers medication/treatments as prescribed.
• Receives, transcribes, and implements physician’s orders.
• Implements and evaluates care plans.
• Identifies and secures equipment supplies.
• Directs and oversees subordinates.
• Participates in duty assignments.
• Organizes and coordinates subordinates, job tasks, and time allotments.
• Oversees and monitors the function and activities of subordinate staff.
• Evaluates staff performance and institutes appropriate discipline or training.
• Monitors infection control compliance.
• Investigates and documents accidents/incidents.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Current, valid licensure as a LVN/LPN.
• Experience in long‑term healthcare preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong written and verbal skills.
