We’re looking for a full‑time Production Operator to join our Day & Zimmermann team located in Texarkana, Texas.
Job Responsibilities- Perform various work tasks involved in the receiving, unpacking, inspecting, assembling, breakdown, reworking, packing out and palletizing of component parts and finished ammunition.
- After having successfully passed the required training, operate a forklift or tow motor as assigned.
- Perform cleanup of work areas.
- Perform operations in accordance with written standard operating procedures and wear required personal protective safety equipment.
- Manufacture items in accordance with latest drawings and specifications.
- Good manual dexterity and general good physical condition.
- Ability to work with small parts.
- Reading skills at a level normally acquired through high school education.
- Must be able to lift 35–60 pounds.
- When an employee is working on a job, he or she may be assigned to perform those duties of another classification which he or she can perform except that the time spent in such activity will not exceed fifty percent (50%) of any workweek. At no time shall an employee be assigned duties which he or she has neither the knowledge nor the skill to accomplish or which would compromise his or her personal safety or the safety of others.
- High School or equivalent.
- Assembly Line Work Experience preferred.

- Manual Dexterity (e.g., picking, pinching, typing, or other work that uses fingers)
- Grasping (e.g., use of hand to apply pressure)
- Feeling (e.g., perceiving an object’s size, shape, texture, etc.)
- Climbing (e.g., ascending/descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, pole, etc. using feet and legs and hands/arms to climb)
- Hearing
- Talking
- Capacity to think, concentrate and focus for long periods of time.
- Capacity to reason and make sound decisions.
- Capacity to express thoughts orally.
- Expertise in:
Ability to wear a mask, respirator, bullet proof vest, or other equipment. - Ability to regularly perform all job functions at Company’s office or worksite.
- Ability to withstand environmental conditions (e.g., extreme heat or cold, grass, wind, sand, fumes, odors, gases, extreme noise, etc.)
