Install, repair, and maintain heavy industrial equipment according to diagrams, sketches, operation manuals and specifications;
Observe mechanical devices in operation and locate causes of trouble by listening to sounds;
Dismantle devices to gain access to and remove defective parts using hoists, cranes, hand tools and power tools;
Apply knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical power transmission, welding, rigging, and pipe fitting;
Capable of running projects with little or no instruction
