Software Development Engineer – Java​/Python

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant industry experience
• Proven ability in developing automation pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and Git
• Proficient in scripting languages like Python or Bash
• Experience working with Unix/Linux operating systems
• Active and transferrable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is essential
• U.S. citizenship is a must for security clearance eligibility
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline tools
• Experience managing and configuring Jenkins pipelines
• Background in developing, testing, and delivering applications in a Dev Sec Ops  framework
• Knowledge of software artifact storage solutions, such as JFrog Artifactory
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Podman
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Background in developing complex systems using C/C, Java, or similar object-oriented languages
• Understanding of software development methodologies like Agile or Scrum

• Design and develop tools for software deployment in lab and client environments
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define and implement software factory flows
• Create automation pipelines to enhance the integration process of upstream software releases
• Automate configuration management tasks to improve efficiency
• Document software release processes and tooling comprehensively
• Engage in code reviews to ensure adherence to high coding standards and practices
• Stay updated on industry advancements in software factories and continuous delivery
