Floral Assistant; Part Time

The Floral Assistant will support the Floral Manager across various operational practices. Support will be focused around display and maintenance of floral inventory, as well as the engagement with customers both in-person and over the phone, in order to properly and efficiently communicate orders.

• Assist customers with questions and the selection of floral arrangements
• Maintain health of floral inventory both on the floor and in the refrigerated storage through the watering, cutting and displaying of flowers
• Communicate arrangement requests to Floral Manager from both in-store customers and phone orders
• Setup displays in accordance with company standards
• Assist the Floral Manager and Designers in the design of floral arrangements as needed
• Complete other general maintenance tasks on the general floor as required

Work of personal experience in the horticultural, floral arrangement, or gardening fields preferred. Demonstrated ability to offer excellent customer service skills, phone etiquette and a strong work ethic

This job operates in an active retail store environment. This job may be either indoors or outdoors or both.

Flexible hours. Days and hours of work vary by schedule and season. Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
