Travel RN - Med​/Surg

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an outpatient Methadone Clinic position in Massachusetts, requiring at least 1 year of methadone dosing experience and an active MA RN license.

Job Details

• Outpatient methadone clinic setting serving adult patients with Opioid Use Disorder (OUD),

• Primary responsibilities involve methadone dispensing using onsite dispensing pumps,

• Schedule is Tuesday through Friday, 10 hours per week (2.5 hours per day),

• Shift hours are either 6:00 AM-8:30 AM or 7:00 AM-9:30 AM,

• Uses Epic EMR,

• 26-week contract,

Job Requirements

• Active MA RN license currently in hand,

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required,

• At least 1 year of consistent methadone dosing experience required, full-time experience preferred,

• BLS certification required,

• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions permitted),

• COVID vaccine and booster required (medical exemptions permitted),

Additional Information

• Administers methadone to patients in active addiction under the direction of the OTP Nurse Manager, ensuring safe medication administration and monitoring effectiveness,

• Performs both direct and indirect patient care duties in collaboration with other staff,

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible - local candidates are not accepted,

• All previous employees of any Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) facility (travel, permanent, or per diem) must have a minimum 6-month break before being considered for this position
