Citizenship and Clearance: U.S. citizenship is required. An active, transferable Department of Defense security clearance (Secret) is required prior to start.
We are a defense contractor focused on protecting our nation’s security. Our cybersecurity team seeks an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to work 100% onsite at our Tewksbury facility.
Responsibilities- System compliance, auditing, and security plan development.
- Deliver information systems security education and awareness.
- Investigate security violations and prepare corrective and preventive action reports.
- Collaborate with facility security, program personnel, and government representatives.
- Security sustainment activities including hardware and software change management, account management, media protection, user interface, and file transfers.
Important Note:
Within six months of hire, obtain and maintain a security professional certification (IAM Level I, e.g., Security+).
- University degree and minimum 2 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field.
- Relevant experience in:
- Cybersecurity, systems security, or hardening.
- Information Technology.
- Compliance-based auditing (RMF, DCSA, DAAPM, JSIG, NISPOM, PCI, ISO 9001, HIPAA, etc.).
- Support of computer technologies: databases, operating systems, network hardware, software, troubleshooting, or electronics.
- Physical security, police work, criminal justice, investigations, or Border Patrol.
- Project/program management, office management, senior administration, or account management.
- Experience in DoD classified operating or laboratory environments.
- Familiarity with RMF, NISPOM, DAAPM, JSIG, ICD 503, STIGs, and NIST publications.
- Audit experience (physical security, network and system event logs, password administration, file access privileges).
- Experience with cyber incident response: preservation, containment, eradication.
- Independent and team-oriented work ability.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, especially documentation of evaluation results.
- Customer focus, adaptability, and willingness to handle varied assignments.
- Completion of National Industrial Security Program cybersecurity training.
Salary range: $68,900 – $131,100 USD.
