Job Description & How to Apply Below
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Analog/Mixed‑Signal ASIC Design Engineer to join our innovative team. This role is crucial for the design, simulation, and verification of high‑performance analog and mixed‑signal circuits for our next‑generation magnetic sensors. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills to help guide new product definitions and development, contributing significantly to a growing engineering team.
Responsibilities- Lead the design, simulation, and verification of high‑performance analog and mixed‑signal circuits, specifically for magnetic‑based current, position, and angle sensors
- Develop and implement circuit architectures and topologies with a focus on achieving high bandwidth, low power, and low noise to meet stringent performance requirements
- Conduct detailed system‑level simulations (e.g. MATLAB, MathCAD) and circuit‑level simulations (e.g. Verilog, SPICE) to ensure design integrity
- Work closely with cross‑functional teams, including digital design and layout, to ensure seamless integration and successful ASIC development
- Create and maintain comprehensive design documentation, including specifications, simulation results, and test plans
- Support post‑silicon validation, characterization, and production test development
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 5+ years of product design experience at an IC company. The experience requirement may be less for candidates with a Ph.D. degree
- A proven track record of successfully designing and taking analog/mixed‑signal circuits to high‑volume production
- Expertise in both bipolar and CMOS mixed‑signal design
- Proficiency in designing key analog blocks such as instrumentation amplifiers, ADCs, DACs, LNAs, voltage references, bandgaps, and oscillators
- Strong understanding of semiconductor physics and device characteristics
- Proficiency with industry‑standard EDA tools like Cadence Virtuoso
- Familiarity with magnetic sensors (Hall‑effect, TMR, GMR, AMR) is a significant plus
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork
